A new college has one big problem on day one: nobody knows it exists. Quad AI launched with a strong idea (a career-first, industry-led B.Tech programme) but no online identity, no audience and no track record. This case study shows how Mediaweber took on college social media marketing in Patna, managing Quad AI’s Instagram, YouTube and Facebook from launch day to build a brand that students and parents across Bihar recognise.
About Quad AI: A New B.Tech College in Patna
Quad AI is a new-age tech and business institution offering B.Tech programmes, with a focus on being career-first and industry-led. It speaks to class 12 students and their parents, who choose a college carefully and compare many options before they decide. Mediaweber has been its social media partner from the very beginning.
The Challenge: Marketing a New College in Bihar from Zero
Quad AI started from zero, and three things stood in its way:
- No existing presence: no profiles, followers or content library to build on.
- A crowded market: engineering aspirants in Patna and Bihar see many colleges competing for the same attention, including colleges in other cities.
- A clear goal: reach the right students and parents, build trust quickly and support the institution’s admission goals.
Our Approach: A Five-Step Social Media Strategy for Colleges
We built the presence in stages, starting with identity and trust and moving on to reach and admissions.

The five steps were launch-day setup, brand identity, local content, trust building and support for admission goals. Each one fed the next.
Brand Identity First: One Positioning for Every Platform
Before posting anything, we set one clear positioning and used it everywhere: “Career-first. Industry-led.” The profile, bio, colours and creative style all follow the same look and message, so Quad AI felt like one consistent brand from the first post.

The Instagram story highlights became content pillars: guest lectures, Robo Race, AI tools, esports, orientation, workshops and internships. They show prospective students what life and learning at Quad AI look like.
Building Trust with Industry Mentors Content
Choosing a college is a trust decision, so a large part of the content puts real people in front of the audience. We built creatives around mentors and alumni from well-known institutions and companies, a “What is Quad?” explainer and “Why should you join Quad AI?” posts that point students to the programme page.

We also made content for local audiences, including a creative featuring a Patna landmark that urges computer science aspirants to take the next step before seats fill up.
One Brand, Three Platforms: Instagram, YouTube and Facebook for College Admissions
Each platform has its own job in the admission journey:
- Instagram: reels, posts and carousels that get B.Tech aspirants’ attention and engagement.
- YouTube: longer videos and Shorts that answer student and parent questions and build credibility.
- Facebook: updates and community reach among parents and the wider local audience.

Event Coverage: Welcome Batch 2025 at Quad AI
Social media isn’t only made at a desk. When Quad AI welcomed its new batch, our team covered the event on the ground.

The event had speakers, a panel, an engaged audience and a stage branded with the #joinmyquad message. We captured stage moments, photos and video interviews with attendees, and turned them into content for all three platforms.

Event content works because it’s real. Parents and students see actual people and an actual campus, which builds more trust than a polished advert.

Results of Quad AI’s Social Media Marketing in Patna and Bihar
From a standing start, Quad AI now has:
- An active, consistent presence on three platforms
- A recognisable brand identity and positioning that carries across every post
- A growing library of mentor, student and event content for B.Tech aspirants and parents in Patna and Bihar
- Support for its admission goals, with social media working as a steady source of visibility and enquiries
Why Our College Branding Strategy Worked
- Identity before volume: one clear message beat a lot of mixed ones.
- Real people: mentors, students and event moments built trust.
- A local focus: content aimed at Patna and Bihar felt relevant to the people it was meant for.
- Consistency from day one: a steady rhythm kept the brand visible.
